Win11Debloat vs privacy.sexy

privacy.sexy is not a program that changes Windows itself. It is a website, and a desktop app, where you tick items from a long list and it writes a script for you to run. Win11Debloat is a ready-made tool with a wizard. We counted what privacy.sexy offers from its own Windows script collection.

Short answer

Should I use privacy.sexy or Win11Debloat?

  • Use privacy.sexy if you want to see the code of every single change before you run it, or need far more privacy items than any debloater offers: 920 for Windows.
  • Use Win11Debloat if you want a safe result without reading 920 items: Default mode, a wizard that shows what is applied, a restore point and undo.
  • Be careful with privacy.sexy's lower levels: 254 of its items are in a section called Privacy over security, which includes turning off Defender and automatic updates.

What is in privacy.sexy's Windows collection

Its 920 Windows items sit in nine sections. Each item is marked Standard (safe for most people), Strict (more aggressive), or neither, which means you have to choose it on purpose.

Some of this goes well beyond Win11Debloat: telemetry settings for Visual Studio, VS Code, .NET, PowerShell, Office and Nvidia, clearing browser history and Windows logs, blocking tracking servers in the hosts file, and security hardening such as turning off AutoRun. Win11Debloat sticks to Windows' own settings and apps.

Where Win11Debloat is easier

  • One safe choice. Default mode applies 16 tweaks and removes 84 apps, picked by the project as safe for almost everyone. In privacy.sexy, even the Standard level is 317 items.
  • It knows what is applied. Win11Debloat's wizard detects which tweaks are already on and lets you untick them to undo. privacy.sexy writes a script; reverting means generating and running a revert script for the same items.
  • A restore point first. Win11Debloat makes one in Default mode. privacy.sexy's scripts do not do this for you.
  • App ratings. Each of Win11Debloat's 141 apps is rated safe, optional or not recommended, with notes on what breaks. See the app list.

Where privacy.sexy is better

  • Transparency per change. You see the exact code for each item as you tick it. With Win11Debloat you can read every registry file too, but they are spread over its Regfiles folder; our tweak pages show them one by one.
  • Range. 920 items, including third-party software and clean-ups that Win11Debloat does not touch.
  • Other systems. It also has collections for macOS and Linux.

Is privacy.sexy still updated?

Its newest source change is from 18 April 2025, and its latest version is 0.13.8. That does not make it unsafe, but Windows has changed since: newer Windows 11 features may not be covered. Win11Debloat's latest release is 2026.08.24, from August 24, 2026; see releases.

Questions

Is privacy.sexy safe?

It is open source under AGPL-3.0 and shows you every line it will run. What it runs is up to you: the Standard level is meant to be safe for most people, while items outside the levels, such as turning off Defender, are for people who know the trade-off.

Can privacy.sexy undo its changes?

Many of its items come with revert code: you pick the same items, choose to revert, and run the new script. Win11Debloat's wizard does this with checkboxes, and also writes an undo file for each tweak.

Can I use privacy.sexy and Win11Debloat together?

Yes, but each only knows its own changes. Run one, check the result, then the other, and keep a restore point from before both.
