About
About this site
win11debloat.dev is an independent guide to Win11Debloat, the open-source Windows debloat script by Raphire. Win11Debloat has a README and a wiki, but no website. We built the site we wanted when we first used it: every option explained, every claim checked, and the script tested on real Windows.
How we work
We check facts against the source code
Every page is checked against a specific Win11Debloat release, shown at the top of the page (currently 2026.08.24). App lists, tweak lists, registry values, parameters and error messages are read straight from the release's files by a script, not copied by hand. When the code and the official docs disagree, we go with the code and say so. For example, the docs leave out -WhatIf and -SkipRegistryBackup.
We run it ourselves
We run Win11Debloat on fresh Windows machines: Windows 11 Enterprise 25H2 on Arm64 and Windows Server 2025, using GitHub's hosted runners. A script downloads the release the way the one-liner does, drives the wizard, takes screenshots and records the system before and after. Every screenshot labelled “Real screenshot” comes from those runs. The raw logs and snapshots are published on our test results page.
We say what we do not know
Our test machines are virtual machines that cannot restart mid-test and have no GPU or battery, so we do not publish speed, battery or gaming claims. Problems users report that nobody has traced to Win11Debloat are marked “unconfirmed”, not presented as facts.
We keep it current
Win11Debloat releases every couple of weeks. When a new release comes out, we regenerate the data from it, re-run the tests and update the version shown on each page. Pages with something that changed get a new “Updated” date.
The tools
The tools on this site, such as the app checker and the command builder, run entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste into them is sent to us. They only produce text, such as a command or a script, for you to read and run yourself.
How the site is funded
The site has no ads or affiliate links today. If that changes, ads will be clearly separated from the content, and they will never change what we recommend.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, or something has changed in a newer release, email hello@win11debloat.dev. We fix errors quickly and do not mind being told.
Something wrong or out of date? Email hello@win11debloat.dev and we will fix it.
