Short answer

Should I use O&O ShutUp10++ or Win11Debloat?

  • Use ShutUp10++ if you only want to control what Windows shares, change nothing else, and like a list of switches with a recommendation for each.
  • Use Win11Debloat if you also want the ads, preinstalled apps, Copilot and Recall gone, and want to be able to read exactly what each change does.
  • Both let you undo changes one by one, and both are free.

The real differences

Apps

ShutUp10++'s pages describe settings and controls only, no app removal. Win11Debloat removes up to 141 apps, 84 of them in Default mode, from Candy Crush to OEM utilities. See what Default mode removes.

Seeing what changes

Every Win11Debloat tweak is a plain .reg file in its download, and every one has an undo file. We list the exact values for each tweak on our tweak pages, and tested each one on Windows 11 25H2. ShutUp10++ labels each switch with a recommendation level, but its code is not public, so you cannot check what it writes in the same way.

Keeping settings after updates

Windows updates sometimes turn settings back on. O&O's paid Premium version watches your chosen settings and puts them back automatically; the free version does not. With Win11Debloat you run it again with -RunSavedSettings, and its wizard shows which tweaks are still applied.

Installation

Both run without installing. ShutUp10++ is a single portable program. Win11Debloat is a PowerShell script, run with a one-line command or from the release ZIP.

Using both

You can: Win11Debloat for apps, ads and AI, ShutUp10++ for its own privacy switches. WinUtil even has a button that downloads and starts ShutUp10++. Run Win11Debloat first, then ShutUp10++, and keep the restore point Win11Debloat makes. Each tool undoes only its own changes.
